Obstetrics and Gynecology

Dr. Joanne Richards

She received her BA from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire in 1985. She continued her studies at Columbia University in New York and received her Doctorate in Medicine in 1989. Dr. Richards completed her residency at Presbyterian Hospital Medical Center in 1993. She was Board Certified in 1990 and received her American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology Certification in 1995. She is passionate andcaring and continues to advance her knowledge and certificates in the most current technology including robotics. Dr. Richardsprovides minimally invasive surgery along with in-office procedures. Dr. Richards' has a patient following from the Orlando area to Key West and Fort Meyers as well as international patients who come to the United States to receive care with her. Patient care and quality are Dr. Richards most valued virtues.

He received his BA from the University Of Miami , Florida in 1991. Dr. Blanco was eager to continue his studies at, Universidad Central del Caribe , in Bayamon, Providence Rhode Island. He received his Doctorate in Medicine in 1995. Dr. Blanco completed his residency in 1999 from Tulane University Medical Center . He is Board Certified in Gynecology and Obstetrics. Dr. Blanco also provides minimally invasive surgery along with in-office procedures. He is certified in robotics as well and continues to remain up to date on the most current technology and procedures. Dr. Blanco has a large patient following from Miami to Northern Florida as well as international women that come to the United States to receive care prenatal care and beyond with him. She received her BA from New York University in 2004 and a Masters in Public Health from UC Berkeley in 2006. She went on to continue her studies at Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University where she received her MD in 2010.Dr. Ufberg completed her residency in OB/GYN at the Hofstra North Shore/LIJSchool of Medicine . She received the award for excellence in teaching and education and is passionate about educating women from the teen years through childbearing years and on through menopause; helping them to understand and take charge of their reproductive health. Along with this Dr. Ufberg maintains a unique interest in global women’s health, and in providing care to underserved populations, both in the US and abroad. Her commitment to these efforts led her to spend time in international clinics in various countries including Haiti, Thailand, El Salvador, and Guatemala. Dr. Ufberg is committed to creating a comfortable and open environment for her patients to receive comprehensive care. Dr. Ufberg is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and joins us from private practice in New York City.

She received her Bachelors of Health Science from the University of Florida in 2006. Dr. West continued her studies at George Washington University in Washington D.C. where she received her Doctorate of Medicine in 2013. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida Health - Jacksonville in 2017. Dr. West has returned to Broward County after residency to continue providing excellent and compassionate care to the women in the community in which she was raised. Dr. West is passionate about women's health and excited to provide patient-centered care to women of all ages.

Dr. Wahid graduated from the St Georges University School of Medicine in 1997. She works in our Plantation, FL office and specializes in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Dr. Wahid is affiliated with HCA Florida University Hospital

Raised in South Florida Dr. Cepeda received her BS from the Florida International University in 2012. She continued her studies at Rutgers Medical School in New Jersey where she received her Doctorate of Medicine in 2018. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Maimonides Medical Center - Brooklyn, New York in 2022 and is skilled in Minimally Invasive Surgery. A passionate Dr. Cepeda returned to South Florida to care for the community that raised her.

We are happy to welcome Dr. Robert W. Pimentel to Premiere OB/GYN. Dr. Pimentel attended Medical School at UNPHU, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic where he received his Doctorate in 1988. He completed his OB/GYN residency at Danbury Hospital, affiliated to Yale University, in Danbury, CT. At Danbury Hospital he served as Chief Resident. He practiced Obstetrics and Gynecology in Illinois/Iowa, Quad Cities for 25+ years where he served as Chief of the OB/GYN Departments for several years. He is passionate about taking care of his patients and he continues to expand his knowledge in the most current technologies. He enjoys taking care of High-Risk Pregnancies and providing his patients with the option of minimally invasive surgeries, including Robotics. Dr. Pimentel became Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2001. He is looking forward to continuing to provide his patients with high quality, and compassionate care.
